Associated Veterans Merges with Curis IT to Accelerate Federal Growth Opportunities
Great Falls, VA – January 24, 2017
Today, growth strategy and advisory firm Genaesis, LLC, announced the merger of Culpeper, VA-based Associated Veterans and Maui, Hawaii-based Curis IT. Both businesses are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) founded by former Marines, with a focus on providing IT and Program Management services to the Federal Government. The merged entity will remain as Associated Veterans, led by CEO Antonio Moscatelli.
Said Moscatelli, “We are thrilled to have worked with Genaesis to enable this rapid growth. Their work on this deal – bringing us together with the acquisition target and capital provider – will grow our top and bottom lines by more than ten times.”
According to Erin-Michael Gill, Founder and CEO of Genaesis, “We are proud to have helped these SDVOSB’s merge, as they will now be able to leverage their collective outstanding past performance to a broader set of Federal Government stakeholders.”
The combined entity will bring experience as an Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) services firm as well as significant PMO past performance – specializing in and performing critical services such as software development, program management, policy development and analysis, systems integration and information assurance.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The merger was funded by an acquisition loan through Wilmington, NC-based Live Oak Bank’s Federal Contracting division.
