Genaesis Founder Joins the Board of Global Impact Initiative

In November 2023, Genaesis Founder and CEO Erin-Michael Gill joined the board of Global Impact Initiative, a 501(c)3 focused on impact philanthropy, where targeted investment and economic intervention can have an outsized and lasting benefit to those most in need.

Founded by Anjum Malik, Gii works with vulnerable and at-risk communities worldwide through education, mentoring and job skills training.

Gill and Malik had appeared together on a panel at the United Nations in 2022, the year before he joined the board.

Between 2017 and 2023, Genaesis created over $200m in impact M&A for women-owned, minority-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.

Genaesis also supported the launch of Gii.Gives, the organization’s fundraising platform, ahead of GivingTuesday that November.
