Genaesis Founder Re-elected to Chair the Trade Advisory Committee on Intellectual Property

In June 2022, Genaesis Founder and CEO Erin-Michael Gill was re-elected by his fellow advisors to chair the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Intellectual Property Rights, renumbered ITAC-14 for the 2022 to 2026 charter term.

He was first elected to the chairmanship in June 2018 and first appointed to the committee during the Obama administration, so his service on it has spanned three administrations.

The committee advises the President, through the United States Trade Representative and the Secretary of Commerce, on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in the global economy. Its work reaches the trade agreements and other arrangements that bear on intellectual property, along with questions such as theft and counterfeiting.
