Genaesis Advises Kent Nygren on His Acquisition of SRM Group
Genaesis served as buy-side advisor to Kent Nygren.

Kent Nygren has acquired SRM Group, LLC, a service-disabled veteran-owned provider of housing management, facilities support and maritime logistics to federal agencies, based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Nygren came to the transaction from a career in the United States Navy, where he served as a SEAL officer leading international projects and high-value programs. He is an engineering graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and holds an MBA from MIT. He serves as president of SRM Group.
The transaction gave Nygren an operating platform in federal facilities support. He went on to complete two follow-on acquisitions, closing in December 2024 and January 2025.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Genaesis served as buy-side advisor to Kent Nygren. Benchmark International advised the seller.
