Genaesis Founder and ITAC Chairman Celebrates USTR’s Sixtieth Anniversary

Erin-Michael Gill with Ambassador Katherine Tai at the White House, January 2023

In January 2023, Genaesis Founder and CEO Erin-Michael Gill attended the White House celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the Office of the United States Trade Representative, representing Genaesis as an appointed trade advisor and chairman of the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Intellectual Property Rights.

USTR has led the negotiation of most American free trade and investment agreements across those six decades. Gill has been an appointed advisor for roughly a decade of that, working primarily on complex intellectual property and investment questions.

Among those present were Ambassador Katherine Tai, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and Congressman Kevin Brady, along with former Trade Representatives who spoke and dozens of ambassadors, advisors and USTR staff.
