BlackFish Federal, LLC, an IT and professional support services provider to federal agencies, then based in McLean, Virginia, has acquired AMTIS, Inc., a leadership development and training firm based in Orlando, Florida.

AMTIS, founded in 2007 by Barbara Stankowski, provides leadership development, executive coaching, strategic planning facilitation, training development and business process services to federal agencies.

BlackFish Federal was certified as an SBA 8(a) company in 2015 and works across defense, health, national security and law enforcement. The firm subsequently moved its headquarters to the Orlando area.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
