Genaesis Advises Federal Hill Consulting on Its Acquisition of FYI
Genaesis served as buy-side advisor to Federal Hill Consulting.

Federal Hill Consulting, LLC, a woman-owned technology services firm based in Falls Church, Virginia, has acquired FYI — For Your Information, Inc., a woman-owned provider of human capital and IT services to federal agencies, based in Beltsville, Maryland.
FYI was founded in 1987 and provides federal human capital and human resources services, technical training, project and program management, IT support and data analytics. Its customers include the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice and Labor, the General Services Administration and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Federal Hill Consulting delivers IT services and talent acquisition solutions to government and commercial clients, and was itself a woman-owned, HUBZone-certified small business. Brooke Neblett, chief executive of Federal Hill, led the combined business; Bernadette Yu, who had led FYI, continued as a consultant.
The combined company later consolidated under the FYI name.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Genaesis served as buy-side advisor to Federal Hill Consulting. Baltimore-Washington Financial Advisors, Inc. advised the seller.
